Jerboa is an AI-powered requirements engineering platform that automates the most time-consuming and error-prone part of any software project: the journey from an unstructured idea to a clearly specified requirement.
You provide Jerboa with a wide variety of inputs—a recorded workshop video, an audio recording, PDF, Word, and Markdown documents, even content from Microsoft Access databases or source code from Lotus Notes, free-form text, or an AI-guided dialogue. Jerboa automatically transcribes this input, semantically analyzes its content, structures requirements and processes, and automatically generates the project artifacts required for software implementation or customization. This provides you with structured epics, features, user stories, tasks, and non-functional requirements, as well as BPMN process diagrams, fit-gap analyses based on process catalogs, mockups, milestone overviews, project cost estimates, and ready-to-use developer prompts for AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Augment Code, Cursor, or Claude Code.
What would otherwise take consultants and solution architects days to complete runs through a pipeline here—with human review points where it matters most and direct export to Azure DevOps or Jira. Jerboa thus ensures a secure and dramatically accelerated start to your software project.

Flexibility through various operating modes
Job pipeline
The job pipeline operates fully automatically: Input from a single source is processed through a fixed sequence of stages without any further intervention. It is ideal for standard cases, initial contact with a source, or bulk processing (e.g., via watch folders or OneDrive sync).
Flow editor
The flow editor is a visual DAG-based designer with over twenty node types, in which any number of sources can be freely combined, intermediate steps can be configured, and human-in-the-loop reviews can be integrated at every single node. It offers maximum flexibility for custom processes, complex data flows, and controlled approval steps.

Bring your own AI
Jerboa provides the platform, orchestration, and process logic. For the actual AI processing, Jerboa uses the AI models and agents deployed in your tenant—for example, from Azure AI Foundry or other supported providers such as Claude. This allows you to maintain control over models, costs, governance, compliance, and data management, while remaining flexible in your choice of AI technologies.
Business Process Catalog
The Business Process Catalog is one of Jerboa’s most powerful features: It imports target process catalogs—such as the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Process Catalog, APQC frameworks, or customer-specific process models—and deterministically aligns the generated actual processes with these reference models. This generates a fit-gap analysis with a “Matched/Gap/New” classification at the click of a button, which can then be transferred directly to Azure DevOps or Jira as a complete five-level work item hierarchy.
Jerboa chat
With Jerboa chat, open questions can be clarified directly within the AI-powered dialogue—via text or voice—and seamlessly integrated into the ongoing workflow. The chat is available either as a standalone interface or directly as a node within a process flow. Findings are automatically summarized and can be immediately incorporated into the rest of the workflow.
Intake sessions
Intake sessions—that is, chats outside your own tenant—allow you to involve external parties without any IT effort. Using a simple guest link and PIN, they gain access to a GDPR-compliant and strictly isolated chat—no account required. The information collected flows directly into the workflow and can be transformed directly into artifacts. This also enables two-stage requirements gathering. Internal project teams, stakeholders, subject matter experts, as well as key users and even end users all collaborate using the same agent—without any media breaks and with a consistently maintained context throughout.
